How it works
We start with a phone call to talk over your interests and explore the styles, time periods, or feel that you might be interested in. I'll make some suggestions, and we will settle on some looks we both feel great about. If there is any clothing or jewelry on this site that you like, feel free to request.
Once you choose a model and hair / makeup stylist(s), I can email reference material so that they can come prepared - this is especially important for classic 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s looks.
On the chosen day, I will arrive with hats, tops, bottoms, jewelry, footwear, outerwear, and maybe a few props (e.g. vintage record player, skateboard deck, polaroid camera). Usually I start with the full look and then change a few pieces at a time to evolve from classic through ironic to truly eclectic. I love shooting a wedding dress with satin slippers, disco heels, and tennis shoes.
What you need to know
My collection is richest in pieces from the 1950s through today. I do have a limited assortment of earlier items.
I have a small collection of wedding dresses which are lots of fun to shoot! Let me know your model's size, and I'll tell you whether I have something that would fit.
My clothing looks best on models close to the measurements below, but sizing is flexible. Note: if her bust is larger than 38" or shoe size larger than 9, options become very limited.
Shoes sizes 8-9.
If your model's waist or hips are significantly larger or smaller, or if she is not between 5'5" and 5'7". I might ask her to bring some of her own pants.
